Sergei Guriev är professor vid Sciences Po i Paris. Guriev var tidigare chefsekonom för EBRD och rektor för New Economic School i Moskva som har nära samarbete med SITE på Handelshögskolan i Stockholm. Under sin tid i Ryssland satt han i styrelsen för Sberbank och en rad andra företag samt i Ryska presidentens råd för vetenskap, teknologi och utbildning. Guriev's vetenskapliga artiklar har publicerats i ledande akademiska tidskrifter och hans policy analyser i såväl rysk som internationell press.
Mötet modereras av Torbjörn Becker, ledamot i styrelsen för Nationalekonomiska Föreningen.

Sergei Guriev is Professor at Sciences Po in Paris. Guriev was previously chief economist for the EBRD and head of the New Economic School in Moscow, working closely with SITE at the Stockholm School of Economics. During his time in Russia he served on the board of directors of Sberbank and a number of other companies as well as in the Russian president's council for science, technology and education. Guriev's scientific articles have been published in leading academic journals and his policy analyzes in both Russian and international press.
The meeting is moderated by Torbjörn Becker, member of the board of Nationalekonomiska Föreningen.
